Parallel domain discretization algorithm for RBF-FD and other meshless numerical methods for solving PDEs

In this paper, we present a novel parallel dimension-independent node positioning algorithm that is capable of generating nodes with variable density, suitable for meshless numerical analysis. A very efficient sequential based on Poisson disc sampling parallelized use shared-memory computers, such as the modern workstations multi-core processors. The uses global spatial indexing method its data divided into two levels, which allows an multi-threaded implementation. addition bootstrapping enables to any number threads while remaining general variant. We demonstrate performance six complex 2- and 3-dimensional domains, are either non rectangular shape or have varying nodal spacing both. perform run-time analysis algorithm, ability reach high speedups regardless domain show how well it scales experimental hardware 16 processor cores. also analyse in terms effects shape, quality point placement, various parallelization overheads.
